HOW DO HOUSE CALLS WORK?

You may contact us via phone or by signing up on our website. We will set a time for a free 10 minute phone consultation to discuss what your pet(s) needs and what we can do for you. We will then schedule an appointment and you will complete a new client form online. We also ask that you have any past medical records emailed to us so that we can review your pet’s medical history in order to make the best decisions for their continued care.

At the appointment time, the veterinarian and a veterinary technician will come to your house. They will introduce themselves to your pet and chat with you while letting your pet become accustomed to them. They will discuss your pet’s medical history, lifestyle and the best options for their care.

The doctor will then do a complete physical exam on your pet and will discuss findings and diagnosis with you after they are finished. We are able to perform many of the commonly used tests such as heartworm test, feline leukemia test or blood and urine panels. Samples are collected and sent to the laboratory and we typically have results in 24-48 hours.If needed, medications will administered or prescribed. Preventative medications such as heartworm medication, flea and tick control, or prescription diets may be purchased through our online pharmacy and will be delivered to your door.

An invoice of services provided will be emailed to you within 24 hours following the appointment. If you do not see an email from Whole Pet Wellness Veterinary Services, be sure to check your spam folders.
